Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Wide to Narrow Initiatives, LLC ("Terravai," "we," "us") governing your use of the Terravai website, app, and services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Terravai is a route-planning tool that helps you organize stops into an optimized route, build a day schedule, estimate mileage and fuel, and manage a client book. Terravai provides planning and estimates as a convenience — actual travel times, distances, fuel use, and tax figures may vary. You are responsible for driving safely and obeying all traffic laws. Do not operate the app while driving. Terravai is not a substitute for professional tax, accounting, or legal advice.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter into a contract.

3. Free trial

New accounts may start with a 7-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial. If you do not subscribe, your access to paid features simply ends when the trial does; we will not charge you unless you choose to subscribe.

4. Subscriptions, pricing & billing

• Plan & price. Terravai Pro is $29.99 USD per month. Applicable taxes may be added.
• Recurring billing. When you subscribe, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
• Renewal. Your subscription automatically renews each month at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Payment processor. Payments are handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
• Price changes. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply to your next billing cycle.
• Failed payments. If a charge fails, we may retry and may suspend paid features until payment succeeds.

5. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel anytime from your account settings or by contacting us through our Contact page. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again.

Payments are non-refundable except where required by law, because you can try the Service free for 7 days before paying. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we'll make it right.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or use the Service to harm others;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service or its providers;
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission;
• Upload data you don't have the right to use, or others' personal data without a lawful basis;
• Misuse the underlying mapping, routing, or traffic data in violation of those providers' terms.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the data you put into Terravai (your stops, clients, notes, and trips). You grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party services

Terravai relies on third-party services (including Stripe, Supabase, and mapping/routing providers). Your use of features that depend on them is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or outages.

9. Availability

We work to keep the Service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we'll give reasonable notice of material changes that affect paying subscribers.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Routes, schedules, mileage, fuel, and tax figures are estimates.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Terravai and Wide to Narrow Initiatives, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, the sections that by their nature should survive (payment owed, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms) continue to apply.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give notice by email or in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
