Terravai ("Terravai," "we," "us") is a route-planning service operated by Wide to Narrow Initiatives, LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it plain-English on purpose.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name and email address when you create an account.
- Route & client data — the stops, addresses, client/customer records, notes, and trip plans you enter or import.
- Preferences — your chosen industry, vehicle/fuel settings, and app settings.
- Support messages — anything you send us through our contact form or by email.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data — basic, non-identifying information such as app version, browser type, and error logs that help us keep the service working.
- Location — only addresses and stops you enter. Terravai does not track your device's background location.
Payment information
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We receive only a token and your subscription status. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
3. How we use your information
- Plan and optimize your routes, schedules, mileage, and fuel estimates.
- Create and secure your account and sync your data across your devices.
- Process subscriptions, trials, and billing.
- Provide support and respond to your requests.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
- Send essential account and service notices (and, only with your consent, product updates).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your client lists or routes for advertising.
4. Service providers we rely on
To run Terravai we share limited data with trusted providers, each only as needed:
- Supabase — secure account storage and database (hosts your account and synced data).
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
- Mapping & routing providers (e.g. TomTom and OpenStreetMap-based services) — to geocode addresses and calculate routes, traffic, and travel times. Addresses you enter are sent to these providers to return results.
- Cloudflare — website hosting/CDN and contact-form delivery.
These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
5. How long we keep data
We keep your account and data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records (for example, billing records) to meet legal obligations.
6. Your rights and choices
- Access & export — request a copy of your data.
- Correct — update inaccurate information in the app or by contacting us.
- Delete — delete clients and trips in the app, or delete your whole account.
- Opt out — unsubscribe from non-essential email anytime.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights. To exercise any right, contact us via our Contact page and we'll respond within the timeframe the law requires.
7. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), database-level access controls (row-level security so one user can never see another's data), and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information and to notify you if a breach ever affects you.
8. Children
Terravai is a business tool not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. International users
Terravai is operated from the United States and your data may be processed there. By using the service, you understand your information may be transferred to and stored in the U.S.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app.
